COMPLION Insights - Employee introduction: Christian Grabner
Who are you?
My name is Christian Grabner, I am originally from Wolfsburg and actually studied to a history and geography teacher for high schools. My way into IT started at a software reseller, then led me to a BIG-4 consultancy and now to COMPLION.
How did you come to Complion?
I am a co-founder of COMPLION AG and have been in management consulting for several years now. I am enthusiastic about the variety of topics in smaller companies, because no day is like the other and I can't do anything with monotony. I would like to develop myself permanently in professional and non-professional topics. COMPLION offers me this perspective by allowing me to actively seek out topics and shape them.
What are your main focuses at Complion?
My focus is on IT Vendor and Software Asset Management. Basically, I am involved in my projects to ensure the cost-efficient use of IT-related company resources (vendor & software level) or to advise on this. In my projects I work conceptually/strategically as well as support my clients in the operative implementation of corresponding measures.
What does your day-to-day work at Complion look like?
My days are characterized by conference calls and coordination in order to further develop the technical content in line with the customer. This work is complemented by the further development of COMPLION, which offers me personally the opportunity to expand my competencies in "non-project topics" such as social media or corporate strategy.
What are you passionate about outside of Complion?
I am an outdoorsman and I prefer to spend my vacation time in remote places without any accessibility. I can look back on some adventures like in Greenland or Iceland, where I fought my way through the wilderness and have many stories to tell.
