What Makes Our Team Tick: 5 Reasons Why You'll Feel Right at Home Here

What makes a good workplace?

Technical skills can be developed. But whether you look forward to opening your laptop or coming into the office in the morning depends on something else: the team.

Wondering what makes working at Complion special? The following 5 reasons show you why you’ll feel right at home with us from day one.

1.      Open and direct communication:

Here, there are no closed doors or complicated bureaucratic channels. Here, you discuss matters with management and don’t just read emails from them. We communicate as equals and embrace flat hierarchies. Your ideas can make a real difference here, so bring them to the table. If something bothers you, speak up. We value honest and direct communication.

2.      Flexibility:

We know that work life doesn’t always happen between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Whether you’re a night owl, drop the kids off at daycare first thing in the morning, or need a workout in between: At our company, it’s the results that count, not the time spent sitting in an office chair. Working from home and flexible core hours ensure that your job adapts to you. And if you’d like to work from abroad for a while, we’ll work together to find a way to make that happen.

3.      Team Events:

We don’t just work together— also team, we go on vacations or play sports together. For our annual workation, we pack up our laptops for a week and swap the office or home office for a new setting. It’s the perfect blend of work and leisure, where we can brainstorm ideas together and wind down the day with a cold drink in the evening.

4.      Mentoring:

At Complion, you’re more than just an employee ID number. This is especially evident in our mentoring program. As a new team member, you’ll be assigned a personal mentor who actively guides and supports your individual development. Whether you encounter obstacles on a project or want to pursue a new professional direction, your mentor is your first point of contact, advises you, and is fully committed to your goals and interests.

5.      Appreciation:

For us, genuine appreciation is reflected in how we treat each other when things get stressful. We treat one another with respect and trust. This also means that we celebrate achievements and share successes. But it also means that we provide constructive feedback because we want you to continue growing. We invest in you and your talents
