Employee Portrait: Khalid Abu Nemah
Hi Khalid, would you like to introduce yourself?
My name is Khalid Abu Nemah, I come from Bavaria and live near Ingolstadt. There I graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on logistics and business informatics. At Complion, my professional focus is on software asset management and software contract management.
How did you come to Complion?
A former colleague, who was both my fellow student and an employee at Complion, made me aware of the company and the field. Since he worked at Complion, he encouraged me to look at this field of work. In September 2022, I was offered the opportunity to apply there as a working student and support the team in Ingolstadt. From the very first day, the subject area of software asset management excited me. After a classic trip to Southeast Asia following my graduation, I then took on a permanent position and to this day I am extremely satisfied with my work and the team.
What are your main focuses at Complion?
My consulting focus is mainly on Software Asset Management and Software Contract Management. In the area of SAM, my focus is on special software used in development. Here we support companies in efficiently managing and optimizing software licenses and their resources.
I currently work for an engineering service provider. There, we support the license managers in their operational business and work to advance strategic and potential issues in order to reduce license costs and minimize future expenses.
What does your day-to-day work at Complion look like?
My working day is characterized by flexible work, which makes every day different. As a rule, I work two days from home. Depending on demand, I spend the rest of the week at the customer's site or in the Ingolstadt office. At the customer's site, I like to be present in the morning to support the day-to-day business. In the Ingolstadt office, we mainly focus on strategic topics or work on individual goals.
What are you passionate about outside of Complion?
I enjoy spending my free time actively doing sports, either alone or in the company of friends. My goal is to be active in sports at least four times a week. I regularly play soccer in the club and enjoy going to the gym to keep fit. In the summer, I prefer outdoor activities like playing volleyball or swimming.
